BNSF’s Carol Devine Honored by Association

The Dallas/Fort Worth Business Travel Association (DFWBTA), an affiliate of the National Business Travel Association, recently recognized BNSF’s Carol Devine, director, Strategic Sourcing, for her many years in the travel industry. To honor her service to DFWBTA, the association established the Carol Devine Leadership Scholarship in her name. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a member of the DFWBTA.

"Carol is an industry icon and highly respected by her co-workers and industry peers. She is a wealth of knowledge and is extremely active in many local and national business travel issues," according to DFWBTA.

Devine has been an active member of DFWBTA for 15 years and served as president of the association for four years, as well as in several other roles on the board. She also served on the board of directors of the national organization for nine years, including president for the 2003-2005 term and most recently completed her two-year term as chairman.

BNSF congratulates Devine, who started her railroad career in 1978 and will be retiring at the end of this year.
